TV Ad "Stain" (Blunt)

Theres a stain on Congressman Blunts record. Big oil and energy interests gave him over one million in campaign cash. And when it came time to vote for the American Clean Energy and Security Act, he voted no. No to 1.9 million new jobs. No to less carbon pollution. And no to more energy independence for America. Congressman Blunt youre supposed to stand up to big oil, not turn your back on Missouri. Clean up your act.

Start a Revolution / Clean Energy SmartPower.org Contest

“I thought your ad was one of the best of the clean energy commercials, and I wanted to share it. Simple as that.” This video has been added to the playlist ‘Energy, Policy, and Climate Change’, a collection of more than 50 related videos. Click on user name “apheta” and then click on playlists. Start a Revolution – SmartPower.org Clean Energy Commercial Contest We took the liberty of upgrading the SmartPower logo to a new efficient energy look. The old incandescent bulb does not represent “Smart Power”. Someone else worded the description of our commercial perfectly. “Wow. I looked at about 50 of these and finally someone heeded the advice from the president of the company – a good catch phrase. ‘Start the revolution’ in itself is not earth shattering, but when you realize that the double meaning is to start the revolution of the windmills- and other clean energy – you have the new ‘Got Milk?’ I can see teeshirts with revolving windmills that say ‘Start the Revolution’. Very clever. Madison Ave should be so good.”

PG&E is spending millions of ratepayer dollars to spread lies about Prop H. Thats money that should be invested in maintaining our grid and developing renewable energy resources.

Special Interests

Take a stand for solutions. Join us: www.wecansolveit.org The solution to our climate crisis seems simple. Repower America with wind and solar. End our dependence on foreign oil. A stronger economy. So why are we still stuck with dirty and expensive energy? Because big oil spends hundreds of millions of dollars to block clean energy. Lobbyists, ads, even scandals. All to increase their profits, while America suffers. Breaking big oil’s lock on our government … Now that’s change. We’re the American people and we approve this message.
