Nice display of special effects.
Its not a dam.
Looks like a turbine bypass/relief valve test. This is water that would normally go through the turbines, but during emergency shutdown of the generating units it is dumped directly to the tailrace through these valves, lots of energy!!!.

they are putting water into a lake that has a dam on it
i live right next to this power station it aint a dam there is four pipes going up the hill behind it about 500 meters which get fed by a series of tunnels and lakes all around the central plateau, the water can make a huge build up a shit around the pipe and every like 2 years or something they flush them
