Why Are Democrats Allowing Lobbyist To Write Global Warming Bill?

Democratic lawmakers who spent much of the Bush administration blasting officials for letting energy lobbyists write national policy have turned to a coalition of business and environmental groups to help draft their own sweeping climate bill.
Its global warming people, not climate change. http://www. washingtontimes. com/news/2009…

Democrats never met a contributing lobbyist they didn’t like. They owe the environmental thugs “big time” for their part in the global warming scam. The Democrats own that lie. It helped them win the last election and put a bunch more liberal, liars in congress. After all, according to the lying weasel Al Gore, the debate is over. It’s just pay back to let the people on the liberal side have everything they want. Who cares if our grandchildren will have to pay for it? After all, the poverty and mjiserty they produce will help the Democrats get more powerful. The more the environmental Jack boot thugs can slow the economy, the more Democrats will have to raise taxes to repair the damage. Raising taxes will slow the economy even more, and the more poor people they can make, the more power the democrats have. One hand washes the other. Quid pro quo.
They will sell the whole swindle by telling us, “We are saving the planet. Don’t you care about the earth?”

Experiments in natural science show that one-sided observations, those that take no account of the multiplicity of factors determining certain processes in the geo-system, lead to unwarranted simplifications and wrong conclusions when trying to explain natural phenomena. Thus, politicians who rely on incomplete data may take wrong decisions. It makes room for politically correct lobbying, especially on the side of business marketing of exceptionally expensive, so called eco-friendly, energy technologies or those offering CO2 storage (sequestration) in exploited deposits. It has little to do with what is objective in nature. Taking radical and expensive economic measures aiming at implementing the emission only of few greenhouse gases, with no multi-sided research into climate change, may turn out counterproductive.

I guess the difference between the Obama and Bush administration is that lobbyists for Obama write bills that help society in an open arena where everyone can see. Bush lobbyists write bills for big corporations that screw Americans in closed door secret sessions.
Other than that, they are exactly the same.
Oh, and if your so called “liberal media” was so slanted towards the left, this story would never have been written.

I liked this paragraph: The exemption would save Duke Energy — along with other firms now building new coal power plants — from having to spend millions of dollars outfitting its Cliffside, N.C., power plant currently under construction with “clean coal” technology.
Why? Because this is clearly one of those times when it is clear that the republican party has lost its collective mind, complaining about coal plants savings millions of dollars because of less regulations. My my, what next?

Selective listening and a basic misunderstanding of incredibly simple concepts on your part would help explain all of your confusion.
Wow, “state of the union”, that was a lot of typing to say absolutely nothing.

Prominent Democrats have invested heavily in certain bogus global warming companies, and the legislation needs to be designed to divert federal funds to those businesses.

So you’re admitting Cheney DID have secret energy meetings where lobbyists wrote the laws? Interesting.
